Is your centre approved for ‘Child Care Subsidy’?

Yes. All Ready 2 Learn early education centres are approved under the federal government guidelines to provide eligible families with access to ‘Child Care Subsidy’.

What hours do you operate?

We are open from 7:00am to 6:30pm at Marsden Park.

What times can I drop off and pick up my child?
You can drop off your child any time from 7:00am in the morning. You can pick up your child any time in the afternoon that suits you.
Do you close throughout the year?

Yes, we open for 50 weeks of the year and close on weekends and gazetted public holidays. We have an annual shutdown period of 2 weeks throughout Christmas.

Will I be able to visit my child or call them at any time?

Yes! We have an open door policy. You can visit as much as you like throughout the day.

What do I need to pack for my child?

A water bottle and change of clothes is all that we ask you to pack for your child. However, you may need to provide bottles of either milk or formula every day as required for your child’s developing needs.

Ready 2 Learn provides a nutritionally balanced menu that is in line with the Nutrition Australia guidelines. Our menu offerings include morning tea, a hot and nutritious lunch, afternoon tea and an evening snack.We provide all Meals, Snacks, Nappies, Wipes, Sunscreen and Linen for rest/relaxation time.

What is the ratio of staff to children?

At Ready 2 Learn, we maintain our educator to child ratios. Our Director exercises a well managed roster which ensures our services are always over qualified with our educators on premise.

Can I come for a tour before deciding whether to enrol my child?

We’d love to see you and your child for a free tour. We can answer all your questions. Plus you get to experience the feel of the centre to make sure it’s right for you.

Do you have a minimum number of days my child has to attend?

We recommend a minimum of 2 days for your child to support their involvement in our educational programme. It also ensures a smooth transition from home to care and enables relationships between educators, peers and families to develop sooner.

What are my daily fees?

At Ready 2 Learn our fee structure is determined by your child’s room placement.

  • 0 - 3yrs $115 per day
  • 3 - 6yrs $105 per day

Eligible families have their Child Care Subsidy applied to the daily fees.

When are my fees due?

We have a fortnightly billing cycle. You can nominate either Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday on your Direct Debit billing form. You will be debited on the first week of the billing cycle.

What’s included in my daily fee?

To assist busy families, Ready 2 Learn provides the following:

  • A nutritionally balanced menu in line with the Nutrition Australia guidelines. It includes morning tea, a hot lunch, afternoon tea and an early evening snack. A vegetarian option is always available.
  • A digital “Learning Journey” as a record of your child’s learning.
  • Wipes, sunscreen, sunhat and t-shirt.
  • Linen for rest/sleep time.
  • Access to QK Kiosk – a digital sign-in/sign-out system.
  • Annual incursions to extend your child's learning experiences.
Will I be charged fees for public holidays or when my child is not there?

Fees must be paid for all Public Holidays, and any absences due to illness or holidays.  Fees are not payable during the annual shutdown period.

What is My Family Lounge?

My Family Lounge is a family portal web application that you can access through your browser or by downloading an app. We use My Family Lounge for Registration Waiting Lists and Bookings.

What happens when I accept a position offer?

You will be required to complete and submit the Enrolment form and relevant attachments, along with the Administration Fee, Bond payment and Direct Debit Form.

Can my child and I have an orientation before commencing care?

Yes, Once your child is enrolled, Ready 2 Learn you and your child a free orientation session. They’re a great opportunity to meet with your child’s educators. Contact your nominated Centre Director to arrange a suitable day and time.

What should my child wear?

We recommend enclosed shoes such as; joggers, sneakers, sandals or shoes with a non-slip sole for active and safe play.

Please dress your child in comfortable play clothes appropriate for both indoor and outdoor activities.

Parents are required to supply a full change of clothing each day, including underwear.  Even if your child does not have accidents, other situations may arise where a change of clothes is necessary.

Earrings in pierced ears can be hazardous when children are playing. If your child wears earrings, please make sure they are small to ensure they can’t be easily caught when playing. For safety, we recommend removing or covering your child’s earrings, while they are at the centre.

How much notice do I have to give If I no longer require care?

Ready 2 Learn requires a minimum of 2 weeks’ notice in writing if you no longer require your position.

At the end of your position, your account will be finalised and your bond will be credited to your account after any outstanding fees are collected via the Direct Debit process. If a credit balance applies a refund will be made to your nominated account.
